Emergency and Rush Sewing Machine Repair

When the machine stops and the work cannot wait, call us first.

A dead machine in the middle of a job is a different problem from a machine that has been sitting in a closet. If you have an order due, a costume call, a boat going back in the water, or a line that has stopped, say so when you call. We will tell you honestly what we can move and when we can get to you.

What the service includes

  • Say it is urgent when you call and we answer yes or no right away
  • Rush handling on the bench for machines you can bring to Clearwater
  • Priority on-site visits for production machines inside our 150-mile area
  • Common wear parts kept in stock so a repair does not wait on an order
  • Loaner and used machine options if yours cannot be ready in time
  • A clear price before we start, even on a rush job

Problems we fix every week

If it uses a needle and thread to sew, we repair it. Home machines, industrial machines, embroidery machines, sergers, quilting machines and antiques.

The machine died in the middle of a paid order that is due this week

A production line has stopped and every hour is costing money

The embroidery head threw an error the night before a delivery

The needle bar froze and the machine will not turn over at all

The motor smells hot or has stopped running entirely

The hook is out of time and the machine shreds thread on every pass

A costume or alterations job has a fitting tomorrow

The machine was dropped or something metal went through it

How a repair works

  1. Call and say it is urgent

Phone (727) 321-9344 and lead with your deadline. That one sentence changes how we schedule you.

  2. We sort it out on the phone

We ask what the machine is doing so we can guess at parts before you arrive or before we drive out.

  3. Bench or on site

Portable machines come to Clearwater for rush handling. Machines bolted to a table get a priority visit.

  4. Back to work

We sew on your fabric before you leave or before we pack up, so the machine goes back into the job working.

Common questions

Do you charge extra for a rush job?

Rush work can cost more because it moves ahead of other jobs or takes a trip we had not planned. We tell you the number before we start. Nothing is billed as a surprise.

How fast can you actually get to me?

It depends on the day, the part, and how far out you are. We will not promise a time we cannot keep. Call (727) 321-9344 and you will get a straight answer, including if we cannot help inside your window.

Can I get a loaner while mine is repaired?

Sometimes. We keep tested used machines on the floor, and depending on what you sew we may be able to put you on something that keeps the order moving. Ask when you call.

Do you handle emergencies outside Pinellas County?

Yes. On-site service runs about 150 miles from Clearwater, which covers Tampa, Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakeland, Orlando and Fort Myers. Distance affects how quickly we can be there.

What should I have ready when I call?

The brand, roughly what the machine is, what it was doing when it stopped, and your deadline. You do not need a model number. A photo helps if you can send one.

Is your machine giving you trouble?

Call and tell us what it is doing. The estimate is free and you do not need the model number.
