Why Sanford calls us
Downtown Sanford has grown a real small-maker community, people producing bags, aprons, and goods in small runs on machines that were bought used and never properly set up. Out on Lake Monroe it is covers, biminis, and cushion work on heavy walking-foot machines. Near the airport there are shops sewing straps, covers, and industrial soft goods. At 120 miles from Clearwater, Sanford is one of our farthest regular stops, and on-site is the right way to serve it.

Questions from Sanford customers
We bought an industrial machine at auction and cannot get it to sew right. Help?
That is a common call from Sanford. Auction machines usually need timing, hook clearance, feed adjustment, correct needle system, and often a new belt and motor setup. We can do all of that on your table during a visit. Reach us at (727) 321-9344.
Can we bring machines to Clearwater instead?
You can, but Sanford is about 120 miles and more than two hours each way, so we do not recommend it for anything mounted or heavy. If you are already driving to Pinellas County for another reason, call ahead and we will have the bench ready.
Is my machine worth repairing?
Often, yes. Machines built years ago were made with metal parts and they last. Many of the ones we see just need a good cleaning, fresh oil and an adjustment. We look at it first and tell you what it needs and what it costs. If the repair costs more than the machine is worth, we say so and you decide.
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. Estimates are free. Bring the machine to the shop, we will look at it, and we will tell you the cost before any billed work is done.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Come by Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and drop the machine off. If you would rather call first, the number is (727) 321-9344.
